Hello! I’m Emily and I am an Interior/Visual Designer for more than 10 years inside interior design, multimedia events, visual merchandising, prop design, and computer rendering. I have achieved a Visual Communications degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco as well as 3 years of intensive study at the University of Colorado in Marketing (Leeds Business School) as well as courses in Communications, Advertising, and Business.

As a designer, I find passion and inspiration in many places; music, lighting, sculpture and architecture, plants, and natural formations are a few of my favorites. Creative individuals are also extremely influential; artists such as Alphonse Mucha and his decorative Art Nouveau paintings, Christopher Boots and his ornate crystal light fixtures, and Chloé Herry and her incredible sound design have inspired me immensely. Nature has played a huge part in my eclectic aesthetic, and I often include design elements inspired by mineral structures, astrological phenomenons, or lush foliage and flowers while making the space practical and environmentally friendly. The community that art brings is above all else, and when I watch others experience what I had created for them, I feel the most unreal sense of accomplishment and bliss and I enjoy working with such a diverse clientele.

I am very confident with my skills as a designer; I have experience with many different mediums, both digital and physical, and know the flow and production essentials of events. However, I aspire to be a part of a team and grow from a community of artists.  I bring an eclectic variety of skills including a positive attitude, effective communication, organized lifestyle, social butterfly, and a love for making people feel accepted through creating immersive environments that offer a surreal sanctuary. I relocated from the Bay Area to Denver, and now to Portland to embrace my unusual aesthetic, continue my career in Interior Design, and find my place in a workforce of like-minded individuals.
